WOMENSWEAR INTERNSHIP

We are looking for an intern on placement year to join our small team for 3-6 months, to help us design, sample and deliver our AW23 collection. We are looking for someone who is extremely organised, professional, a good problem solver, and who has hands-on studio experience at University.
What you will be doing:
Cutting fabrics
Sewing samples
Tracing patterns
Assisting on fittings
Assisting on pattern alterations
Studio admin
Running errands
Assisting with castings
Assisting backstage at the collection presentation
Requirements:
Currently studying Fashion at University
Practical studio experience at University
Extremely organised
Excellent communication skills
Professional demeanour at all times
Basic knowledge of pattern cutting - placement year level
BA knowledge of sewing and construction - placement year level
Familiarised with London’s current fabric and trimming stores, and who can confidently commute and run errands in different areas of London if required
Independent thinking - able to research and look for answers independently if required
Available to start immediately
Desirable:
Passionate about size inclusivity
Good understanding of the Fashion industry and its current landscape
Good understanding of the different roles involved in the production of a fashion show
